It is almost the third month of the year!
I don’t know about you but 2019 has NOT been going by quickly and I am so grateful for this. Remember the blog post I wrote at the beginning of the year where I spoke about setting goals for the new year but also not feeling the pressure to fulfil those goals in the first few months.
If you didn’t get a chance to read it then you can just click here.
There is so much that I have set out to do (prayerfully) in 2019 and there are a few things that have already started to come to fruition. This post is more of an encouragement that we need to leave things in God’s Hands but also that we should be active at the same time. The Bible says that faith without works is dead (James 2:17).
Therefore, if God has placed a desire to do something on my heart then it is only right for me to begin to research and take the necessary steps to walk in that very thing. Once I begin to recognise that the sole purpose for me being given a desire to walk in a particular direction is for His glory, researching becomes so much easier! This is the beauty of letting God lead your life. He takes His people to the places He needs them to be in and then He will enable them to do the work He has sent them to do. It’s honestly a privilege and an honour that the Creator of the Universe, the One who is above all will look at each of us and see potential.
If you made a vision board for the first few months of the year, maybe now you can add a little bit more to it or even review some of the things that you have on it at the moment. There may be goals and aspirations that have emerged in the last few months (January and February) that were not there at the start of the year. I know this is certainly the case for me!
